It has been a while ... but .... as I need to enable you all to make sufficient of these to decorate a Christmas Tree ; ) here is a QUITE EASY one, the Spike Ball or Spiky Cuboctahedron. If you can fold the classic origami pinwheel this one should not give you any problems at all. You can make it in various sizes the smallest is shown, but check out this site http://www.spikeballheaven.net/ which shows the various options (Spike Balls, Super Spike Balls, and Super Duper Spike Balls) as well as the diagram for the modules.
