This 3D origami, tiger cat, is folded using approx. 300 pieces of Chinese triangular modular units. Completed block folding is a cartoon like Tiger Cat stand. However, some parts of this craft can not completed only with paper, such as the eyes, so other materials were used to complete.

Group on Flickr origami tessellations created a contest for the month of October, by asking people to create works octagonal-theme to celebrate our friend eight-sided solitaire and all its creative possibilities.
My deepest apologies to all of your for the delay in the selection and the award winners of this contest - sometimes life has a way to become very busy and sudden two months have gone by in a blink of eye. As penance for two months at the end of my judging, I added a few additional prize in this contest: three participants will receive a Flickr pro membership year!
I thank everyone to participate and contribute to these beautiful illustrations - as many varieties and folding methods, I was really surprised to see the diversity of ideas to play in all of your creations! I think that everyone, who has created something here and share it with the world is winning, and you should all be proud of the artwork you created.

Endre Somos (soma0213) - Endre makes a delicious floral octagonal ground that reminded me greatly of illustrations of the grammar of ornament, my most beloved book architectural elements and design .the ' use of visually complex floral design elements with an empty space related structurally enhances the beauty of this illustration.Je am quite fond of this model!
Carlos Natan López Nazario (Origami Natan) - Natan creates these structures phenomenal tessellation 3-d, which have long fascinated me; but it has really captured my interest with his model "8 Cubes Star", which is my preferred model 3D version of star octagonal absolue.Il also has a larger model from an earlier version, conception "8 Points Star", which is equally delicious.

Karl struck me about his origami blog, origami-slot a line. Paper planes are so simple, but inspire fans for different reasons. The Act of folding paper and test aircraft aerodynamics is so successful and fun! Interference to song paper planes by MIA is pretty hip too. I would suggest, the elegant flight plain paper wall decals by Mel Lim from Blik? And lets not to forget to Dawn Ng art installation "flight as paper get high like aircraft".
Christine Edison posted photos of this part absolutely étonnante.Je am always impressed by its ability to take ideas and use them in new ways, creating works completely unique and fascinating.

This I travel has everything, that is a lot of it made me think about the map. (I mainly because it would without them, no pun is missing!) loves origami, but I overly complex designs at best are born. Do the most simple folding and modular unit. However, not my materials and creative things I don't. (Or, dare I origami turtle paperdisciple to move outside of the box as shown). Find a free moment and I probably my map from this trip to expand quite something.

I am part of a story on the process of design and the origami, or something to that effect - with some hardware of Robert j. lang and Yuko Nishimura, two artists I respect a lot.
I would be very curious to know what this article says, so if somebody over there is arranged to this definition for me I would greatly appreciate it!
This is a little place in some respects, with a large part of the content in the rest of the magazine, it mainly mode and design, a product of the culture of life.It is very interesting, but I must admit that this is a little surprise for one of the authors to ask me to participate and make an entrevue.Cependant, I had a good time, and it was useful for me to think about my design process and actually write some thoughts on how to perform this answers sujet.Les a little me surprised! when you create something, you think consciously on the creation - process you create only, and in the moment, so almost all other thought is thrust back then you are focused on the task at accomplir.Pour reflect on it after that something is not normally do, so it was quite a good exercise for me to take.
